SigTuple, a Bengaluru-based startup, has raised series c funding of worth $16-million, the company said recently.
Led by Trusted Insights, the funding round witnessed participation of existing investors Accel Partners, Chiratae Ventures, and Pi Ventures.
As per the agreement, Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal who also participated in the round, will join the SigTuple board.

Founded by Rohit Kumar Pandey, Tathagato Rai Dastidar and Apurv Anand in April 2015, SigTuple is AI-based diagnostics startup. Using the AI, the startup develops hardware and software products to digitize pathology test results for hospitals and clinics.
Responding to the development, Apurva, Co-founder and COO, SigTuple was quoted as saying, “The next decade will see diagnostics being transformed in all aspects – from how efficiently and accurately tests are performed in labs to what quality of service is provided to end customers.
“We firmly believe that such a transformation necessitates a full stack approach, and we are re-structuring ourselves to be better equipped to add value at every level of the healthcare pyramid,” Apurva added.
